LWH series cooling water cooler

SCHWÄMMLE cooling water coolers are low-cost industrial coolers with very high operational reliability, fast amortization and high performance.

SCHWÄMMLE cooling water coolers can be used in all applications requiring heat exchange or temperature stabilization, e.g. with precision machine tools, lasers, plasma- arc cutting machines, induction machines, welding machines, degreasers,
for emulsion cooling, etc.

The models LWH 2 to LWH 22 cooling water coolers by Schwämmle have fully hermetically sealed refrigerating compressors and are ready-to-operate compact systems which save space and are easy to install.

Scope of supply

Completely panelled and mounted on sturdy feet. Final coating with
grey textured paint, similar to RAL 7032. Other colours on request.

Cooling circuit comprising refrigerating compressor and tube coil evaporator made of copper in tank (the evaporator can be supplied in stainless steel on request).
Air-cooled condenser made of copper tubes and aluminium fins; expansion valve,
dryer, high and low pressure switches (type tested), sight glass, solenoid valve
from LWH 7 onwards, coolant header, oil and coolant filling.

Water circuit comprising water tank, centrifugal pump and tank stirrer.
Automatic water make-up (option), completely piped.

Electrical switchgear cabinet in totally enclosed dust- proof version in compliance with VDE 0100, 0113 and VGB 4, comprising all switches, controls and monitoring devices. All drives protected against short-circuit by protective motor switches. Electronic thermostat with digital display. Control lamp for power on, control lamp for group fault, main switch and complete electrical wiring.

Power source: 400 V, 50 Hz, 3 phase. Special voltages and versions to UL, CSA, etc. can be supplied on request.
